At the European Geosciences Union General Assembly 2016 I had the opportunity (thanks to my friends at Science Media) to give a workshop about how to best use digital channels to reach an audience for your message.
The workshop was for scientist with very different levels of online (marketing) experience. The scientists make - quite impressive - films to promote their research projects. The predefined title of the workshop was: My Film Is Ready, Now What? Which - of course - was a trick question as that is the wrong moment to ask such a question.
In the workshop I focused on a basic approach (what, who, where and how) as well as some practical pointers, hygiene factors if you like, for individual (social) media channels.
